Day 1: Addis Ababa:

  • Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
  • Half-day city tour of Addis, including the National Museum of Ethiopia.

Day 2: Axum – A Town of Legends:

  • Visit the famous obelisks, Queen of Sheba’s Bath, King Bazen’s Tomb, and Queen of Sheba’s Palace.
  • Explore the Church of St. Mary of Zion, home of the Ark of the Covenant.

Day 3: Lalibela – The African Jerusalem:

  • Discover the 11 rock-hewn monolithic churches of Lalibela.
  • Learn about King Lalibela’s vision to replicate the symbolism of Jerusalem.

Day 4: Lalibela:

  • Visit additional monasteries around Lalibela.

Day 5: Gondar – The Royal Capital of Ethiopia:

  • Explore Fasil Ghebbi castles and Fasiladas Bath.
  • Visit Debre Birhan Selassie Church, adorned with stunning paintings.

Day 6: Bahir Dar:

  • Take a boat trip on Lake Tana to explore its islands and ancient monasteries.

Day 7: Bahir Dar:

  • Morning excursion to the breathtaking Blue Nile Falls (if water is flowing).
  • Afternoon flight back to Addis Ababa.
  • Day 8: Addis Ababa:
  • City tour, shopping for souvenirs, and transfer to the airport for departure.
  • Optional Excursion: Gondar to Simien Mountains (1-Day)
